Camping at Hyalite

Since Tad is officially on shift now and didn't have to work on Monday, we decided to go camping Sunday night to celebrate. We didn't have the best weather, and we found out our tent doesn't hold up well in the rain (it's in the trash now), but we had a great time! Here are some pictures...

This is Hyalite Lake...we camped just before this...

The dogs LOVE to camp...or do anything with us that involves being outside...

Cora sat on the stump to watch her dad split wood...

I know this looks like she's really good at rubbing her tummy and patting her head at the same time, but she felt a rain drop from the tree...she said "rain, mommy".
She figured the wood daddy chopped made a good seat...
Awe...this is the life...
and she's out...
Our little campsite...we were throwing rocks in the creek...
The dogs kept trying to fetch them...it was very entertaining...
Cora wanted to put all the flowers in her hair...
Ok, so somehow Cora learned how to pee in the woods...lol...she said "tee tee, mommy" and this is what she was doing! I just hope she doesn't try this anywhere but camping! Oh, the joys of potty training. :)
She loved playing on this log...
Tad probably didn't catch any fish because someone kept thowing rocks in the water...
Who could it be?
Not her? :)
I had to laugh, because only Tad would put this much effort into building the perfect fire!
Cora loved "swinging" in the hammock...
